This website

linguaist.app is a static website with no forms. Fonts and assets are served from the site itself. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes ordinary connection data such as IP address and request headers to deliver and protect the site.

Optional website analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to this marketing website and clicks on installation and sales links. Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics requests are sent before you choose “Allow analytics”. Rejecting analytics does not affect the website. Use “Analytics settings” at the bottom of any page to change your choice or withdraw consent.

Measurement includes the page visited, its language and section, a referring website’s domain, general browser information and clicks on our installation and sales links. Page query strings, URL fragments and referring-page paths are excluded from the data we send. Google receives connection metadata, including your IP address, when your browser contacts its service. We do not send extension text, page contents, email addresses, provider credentials or account identifiers. Google signals, advertising personalization and user-provided data collection are disabled.

After consent, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_* with a configured lifetime of 90 days, renewed during use. Your analytics choice is saved in this browser’s local storage for 180 days. Withdrawing consent disables measurement and removes these analytics cookies. User and event data retention in Analytics is set to two months without resetting on new activity; aggregated reports can be retained longer. Analytics only runs on linguaist.app and www.linguaist.app, not on local development or preview sites.

Google processes analytics data under its own Privacy Policy. This optional website measurement is separate from the LinguAIst extension’s handling of your text, described below.

If you write to us, we process your message and address to reply to you, and keep it as long as needed for that purpose.

The LinguAIst extension

• LinguAIst does not operate a backend that receives the text you select or the pages you visit.
• Text is sent directly from the browser extension to the AI provider that you or your organization configured, for example Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT or a custom endpoint you control.
• For writing improvement, limited surrounding page context can be included. A setting turns this off.
• Settings and provider credentials are stored locally in the browser extension storage.
• LinguAIst does not sell data or use submitted text for advertising or profiling.

Retention, logging and model training at your AI provider are governed by your agreement with that provider.
